Vinschool is recruiting a professionally certified expatriate ESL teacher for kindergarten classes in its bilingual school system in Ho Chi Minh City.
Responsibilities:
• Teach English as a Foreign/Additional Language according to the school curriculum.
• Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, teaching materials, and class activities.
• Adapt instruction to students' differing needs and interests.
• Assess attainment, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
• Establish classroom expectations and monitor performance, behavior, social development, and wellbeing.
• Communicate with teachers, parents, and guardians about student progress and concerns.
• Provide remedial support where needed.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional-development training, and school events.
• Plan extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic contests.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Education plus TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA; OR
• PGCE, teaching license, or equivalent plus TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA.
• At least two years of relevant teaching experience.
• Fluent English at C1 level or higher.
• Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking, classroom-management, and teamwork skills.
A non-education bachelor's degree with only TEFL/TESOL/CELTA does not meet the published minimum requirement unless accompanied by a professional teaching credential. A demo lesson or sample 35–45 minute lesson plan may be required.
• Published salary: USD 2,100 per month.
