British Council Taiwan is recruiting hourly paid teachers for its Xinyi, Shipai, Songshan and Linkou teaching centres, starting in September 2026. The role includes planning and delivering high-quality English lessons for school-aged learners and adults, monitoring progress, providing feedback and participating in professional development and centre activities.
Preferred availability includes Saturday and/or Sunday mornings from 8:40 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Weekday and weekend afternoon or evening classes may also be available.
Essential qualifications include an undergraduate degree, Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL, C2-level English proficiency and at least two years of post-certificate teaching experience. Applicants should confirm work-authorisation eligibility directly with the employer.
NT$950 per hour; structured professional-development pathways; regular training; classroom feedback from teacher trainers; access to British Council ESL materials; multiple teaching-centre locations.
