The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in Math and Science to Grade 6 students within the IB MYP framework. As a homeroom teacher, you will also support the social-emotional development of your students while fostering a positive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and global awareness. Skills and Qualifications: - Ability to design engaging lesson plans and assessments that foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students. - Experience in a dual language immersion program is an advantage but not mandatory. Values and Attitudes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience, preferably with exposure to the IB MYP curriculum or similar inquiry-based programs.
- Strong knowledge of the IB Middle Years Programme philosophy and practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
- Commitment to student-centered learning approaches that promote curiosity and independence
