Requirements
• BSc or equivalent undergraduate studies in the field of chemistry or physical sciences.
• Relevant academic and/or professional experience in the field of Chemistry or physical sciences.
• Able to teach Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL) Chemistry diploma classes.
• Successful applicants may also be required to teach Junior High School General Science classes depending on school needs.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an official IB certification (in-person or online) for Chemistry, such as the Category One Group 4 Sciences, Chemistry workshop. Successful applicants will be expected to register for a workshop by September 1st, 2026 or shortly thereafter.

• Applicants must also be willing to undergo background checks, including a criminal record check (Japanese DBS), as required by the school.
Preferences
•Recognized teaching certification.
• Able to start work at the beginning of the new Japanese academic term on September 1st.
•Enthusiasm to teach IBDP Chemistry, High School and Junior High School Science classes by working closely with current staff.
