Kansai International Academy is seeking passionate and experienced teachers for its Early Years and Kindergarten programs for children ages 1–6. This is a full-year teaching position working closely with a bilingual Japanese teaching partner to support children’s holistic development.
Key responsibilities:
• Perform full-time teaching duties and manage the classroom.
• Assess and track student progress.
• Provide care and supervision, including toilet training and diaper changes where needed.
• Support curriculum implementation, review, and development.
Requirements:
• Native-level English.
• Bachelor’s degree; Education or Early Childhood is preferred.
• Teaching certification or an early childhood qualification is strongly preferred.
• Experience teaching or caring for young children.
• Must currently reside in Japan.
• Valid visa permitting full-time employment in Japan; student and working-holiday visas are not accepted.
• Basic Japanese is preferred.
• Visa sponsorship is available.
• Work in a bilingual, multicultural school environment.
• Low student-to-teacher ratios.
• Training may be provided for earlier starts.
