International School of the Sacred Heart is seeking a part-time Japanese classroom teacher for a long-term maternity and childcare leave cover position beginning August 11, 2026. The teacher will teach Japanese across Grades 5–12, assess student learning, report progress, conduct parent-teacher conferences, and collaborate with the Japanese Department on curriculum development, documentation, and special events. The successful candidate must be able to work in English within a diverse international-school community and engage effectively with families from many countries. The role reports to the Principal and, secondarily, the Head of the Japanese Department. Appointment is subject to the school’s safeguarding and background-check requirements.
