Taipei European School’s British Primary Section is seeking a dedicated and passionate Supply Cover Primary Teacher to work on an on-call basis.
The teacher will cover staff absences and work with different student groups, requiring flexibility, adaptability, a caring and positive attitude, and commitment to strong pupil outcomes. Applicants must have recent educational-setting experience that can be verified by reference.
Key responsibilities:
• Set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils
• Promote pupil progress and outcomes
• Demonstrate strong subject and curriculum knowledge
• Plan and teach well-structured lessons
• Adapt teaching to pupils’ strengths and needs
• Use assessment accurately and productively
• Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a safe learning environment
• Safeguard pupils and uphold the school’s professional standards and European values
Published qualifications:
• Bachelor of Education, Master’s in Education, or Graduate Diploma of Education in Primary Teaching
• Valid government-issued teaching licence for the candidate’s home school system
• Minimum two years of formal-school teaching experience preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of teaching practice and pedagogy
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
