Concordia International School Shanghai is seeking a School Psychologist (Job ID 670) to support students across the whole school.
Position summary:
• One full-time opening in Shanghai
• Reports to the Assistant Head of School – Teaching & Learning
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and provide individual and group counseling
• Partner with school personnel and families to plan, implement, and evaluate interventions
• Collaborate with P–12 counselors and the Student Support Team
• Support teachers with strategies for students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Oversee bilingual services and help coordinate community-based support
• Work with MTSS and UDL frameworks
Required qualifications:
• Ed.S., Master’s-level specialist qualification, or doctorate in school, educational, or clinical psychology with a full-year internship or residency
• Current licensure or registration as a clinical or school psychologist, with scope covering children and adolescents
• Education certification
• Experience conducting psychological, academic, and self-harm/violence risk assessments
• Experience providing evidence-based therapy to children and youth
• Experience with counseling, special education processes, crisis prevention, positive behavioral supports, and psychoeducational assessment
• Knowledge of DSM-5-TR and trauma-informed care
• Strong collaboration, communication, technology, organization, and crisis-intervention skills
• English/Mandarin bilingual ability is preferred
