Malvern College Tokyo is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and energetic Teacher of Design to begin in January 2027. The successful candidate will primarily teach Design in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, with opportunities to teach Diploma Programme Design according to experience, qualifications, and interests.
The programme develops creative, technically capable, and socially responsible problem-solvers who understand how thoughtful design can improve people’s lives. Through inquiry, creativity, and purposeful innovation, students investigate authentic problems, develop imaginative solutions, and communicate their thinking through iterative design processes.
The teacher will contribute fully to the school’s curricular, co-curricular, and pastoral programmes. Applications close 25 September 2026.
