BASIS International School Shenzhen is seeking a Vice Head of Division – High School for the 2027–28 school year, with an anticipated Fall 2027 start. The role is part of the Senior Leadership Team, works closely with school administrators, and reports to the Head of School.
The Vice Head will help develop secondary programmes; lead student-development, behaviour and social-integration systems; supervise teachers, teaching fellows and the Dean of Secondary School where applicable; coordinate academic and social-emotional support; manage parent communications and expectations; support behaviour management; maintain discipline documentation; establish routines and conduct expectations; and help build a nurturing, achievement-oriented school culture.
Requirements: bachelor’s degree in education, secondary education or a related field; 3–5 years of leadership experience in a high-school environment; demonstrated administrative strength; and strong organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
This is a full-time, on-site, three-year contract. Start date: July 2027.
