Salary is higher compared to other schools but unreasonably high workload
This is a money-making for-profit school only. Classes are packed from 25 to 35 kids and all classes have at least 5 special needs students. No support for special needs students at all. Teachers have a minimum of 26 periods per week. Limited prep time… All of us have to do extra work without pay.
Whatever you do, I would not work at Korrnell Ritz in Taichung. The director there in charge of foreign teachers frequently falsely accuses her employees of things they genuinely did not do. She has been caught lying about her employees multiple times and is even being investigated by the local prosecutor. Her bosses refuse to hold her accountable. They micromanage. There’s constant drama. Most of the staff plan to quit.
